The Da’at Soferim commentary is considered one of the most important commentaries on Tanach today.

For over a decade, the Da’at Soferim series has been publishing a new edition.

Every line in the sefer is examined, and edited to ensure the clarity of what is written.
The editors, a team of scholars, strive to find a source for every sentence in the sefer from the words of our Sages.

On average, over a thousand hours of editing are invested in each sefer, which is why publishing the new edition costs so much.

The new Da’at Soferim series will be published on almost the entire Tanach, and will consist of twenty-two volumes.

To date, eight volumes have been published in the new series, with the ninth volume, the Book of Yirmiyahu, to come out shortly.

We call on students and lovers of Tanach to join us and help publish the books so that we can republish the entire series.

Each donor will be able to honor or commemorate their relatives and friends in the sefarim and on the Da’at Sofrim website.
